The Supremes did the original, followed by Vanilla Fudge, then Kim Wilde in the 80's. Many others have covered the song, but I beleive the Rod Stewart version was the latest release.

Kim Wilde didn't do the original! It was a hit for the Supremes and also Vanilla Fudge back in the 60's/70's. The original is one of those - Kim Wilde obviously covered it as she didn't have a hit with it til the late 80's!
