Hunting is a risk. Accidents happen. Hunting is one of the safest sports, more injuries in baseball, tennis, swimming. It happens in an instant. I have hunted for 45 years, and have seen how it happens, Fortunately it is rarely fatal.

I'm not really sure what the guidelines are for hunting licenses are and I can't imagine the NRA giving him an award.

I don't think this would go under "reckless firearm use", as he just simply made an error in his perception.

You could just as soon suggest that people get their driver's licenses revoked when they have a parking accident.

No, but Ted Kennedy's driver's license should be revoked. I had rather hunt with Dick than ride with Ted. At least Dick tried to get help for the man he shot, Teddy boy left his victim in the car, under water all night, while he went back to the club and slept off his drunk. What a guy! Dick's shooting was an accident, I'm not sure about Teddy's, his was never investigated because he is a Kennedy.
