american idol is still the bomb. they ALMOST tie, but american idol still finishes 1st

The 5th grader show is boring and I dont get it. Why do they get the dumbest people on earth? Why would they risk 1 million dollars when anyone could pick up a 5th grade book and study like there's no tomorrow and win 1 million dollars? Why dont teachers try to win the one million dollars? They give them a test to see how stupid they are and then let them enter the game show. Besides, they gave like one million commercials during the show. Oh and putting Americas next top model at the same time as american idol was a bad move tyra. American idol is the boooom.

We love idol in our house, but we did watch r u smarter than a 5th grader.. It is ok. I liked what the show is about cuz it shows you just how smart you really are.. it's fun but boring. Idol is definitely the winner...

Yes I think so. I watch them both and I am getting tired of American Idol, so now I watch it cause I know that Are you smarter than a 5th grader comes on.

agree with you- American idol is an entirely much better, more fun and entertaining show than "are you smarter than a fifth grader?". i really did not enjoy the game show at all when me and my family viewed the premiere. it was horribly annoying and the people on there are so idiotic that you practically feel like slapping them to put some sense in their heads!!!

I think are you smarter than a fith grader is kinda stupid. I mean there are some people on there that can't even answer first grade questions. I am 12 years old and i just came out of fith grade. And I think that American Idol is the best. Its awesome!

i think american idol is wayyyyyy better than r u smarter than a fifth grader and plus r u smarter than a fifith grader gets boring after a while

I want the making a music bee. it makes me think of!!!!!! yet between those 2..i assume americas have been given expertise because of fact american idol is fastened from the start for the winner and that's not honest for my section and makes the instruct a great rip-off.
