I've wondered that too and thought that many american girls are like this, I'm happy to see not everyone is. I've always thought it was outrageous and don't understand how they can do it because I never would. But I grew up in a different culture and in a household where manners and how we act in front of other people are very important so I just thought that I was too sheltered and closed minded.

additionally, i guess because some want to. Might be part of what they like to do in their spare time.

i think it is just their life essence b\c when the guy's fish tank broke he "died" also when the water pored out of the girls tank she "died" i dont know if this helps b/c the vid and song confuses me too. i also think that the song has nothing to do with the vid. besides it's panic at the disco and the are just weird even though they are a great band.
