Mine was like that when it was old and I also dropped it. It can't be fixed, I had to get a new one. To make it look better you can go into preferences (for example yahoo, go into webcam options) and mess with the coloring. If that doesn't work for you then just go back to the reset colors.

Open the desk top icon for it and take a look at the instructions. It did come with software didn't it? and how much did you pay for it? I spent 50$ on mine and it works great.

its out of focus my focus is on the outside rim turn it and on mine i have to set the color
