Solids - all metals Iron, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Zinc, Copper. Non metals like Carbon which becomes one of the hardest substances known - diamond.
Liquid - the only liquid metal is Mercury. I do not know an element that is always liquid. Are there any?
Gases - oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine, flourine which are biatomic and rare gases like helium, neon, argon krypton, xenon which are uni molecular.

Solids- sodium,Na Zinc,Zn. Liquids,Mercury,Hg.Bromine,Br. Gases- Helium,He,Neon,Ne.In order to understand this rather than be told, you need to know about the Periodic Table of elements.A good teacher could show you how to use the Periodic Table to extract useful and comprehensive knowledge.Remember most examinations allow you to have the Periodic Table with you in the exam.
