if i buy a Refurbished ipod nano, will it have alot of scratches?look at the bottom please?

it says it goes through an inspection and a cleaning process but does that mean all of the scratches are removed?

and will have dirt stuck between the wheel?

i want it to luck brand new ,but will it?

I've had my iPod Nano replaced twice and I bought it brand new. They say they will either fix it or the replacement thay send you could be brand new or refurbished. Both times I got it back it was scratch free and looked brand new when the one I sent them was scratched up. I work in cell phones and when we purchase refurbished phones they always look brand new. I am 100% sure your refurbished iPod will look brand new if you are buying it from Apple. If you are buying from E-Bay or someother private seller they could be using the term "refurbished" loosley. Ask this question to the seller before you buy to be sure and keep documantation of your communication incase what you get is not what you wanted and you need to return it.

one of my freinds bought a refurbished ipod and it looked brand new. but you cant say that all of them look brand new because i was going to sell myn back to apple and they said that the scratches dont matter. they do a pretty good job when they clean them so i dont think their will be any dirt in the spaces by the wheel. i am sure that it would work just like it was brand new though. i hope that this helps!

if you want to be sure that everything will be fine. go for brand new, if you dont have enough money at this time, save more, atleast it really worth it. sometimes refurbished items, only look new but since its used already, you can really never tell. if the difference in the price is not that much, i will go for the brand new one.
