I have a 1987 chevy custom deluxe 2wd and I was wanting to put some new tires and rims on it. I dont have a lot of money to spend (like 700.00 bucks) and I was wondering what a good size would be for this truck and what would go easy on my pocketbook? I'm not wanting it raised or lowered or to look any wider or anything. If I go lower I dont want it by very much. I also want it to look fairly good for the price. I'd like to have them chrome if at all possible. Any suggestions?

Around here everyone is using this place called Rent-n-Roll. I here that they are very good, if your funds are low. It's like a wheel and tire RENT-a-Center. Check in your area to see if you have something like that. Don't shy away from all of the rim shops opening they have a lot of very good deals.

Do you have a "Pep-Boys" by your house. They are very good and have great prices. I use them for everything.
You could probably get a good price I would say around $550.00
and with rims you may need alittle more. Maybe $800.00 for the whole package. They will work with you though. You just may get everything for $700.00 flat. Talk to them I did. We got $200.00 off the sales price for all the work we had done, grand total $1,000.00 and that included labor. That was tires, struts, shocks, brakes, oil change, sway bars, wheel alignment.

Well what size tires do you have on it? write down the numbers off of the tires you have on there right now and go into a tire store and look around... im not sure where you can buy rims for it... there has to be a tire/rim shop somewhere where you live.... start there!! =) Good luck!!

First find out your wheel size and go to a tire and/or auto repair center; Such as Sears Auto Center or WheelWorks, and take some time to find some good bargains for the size. But don't worry, because a sales associate can help you. GOOD LUCK FINDIN' THOSE TIRES!

Look on the round of the tire. It will tell you what size you need.

look on the inside of your door and see the size requirement, then pick out the biggest size.
