The end of my sophomore year in college is coming up and I'm enrolled in any type of academic track/program, meaning I have no major...my question is, how bad is that? and what should my major be?

Is it bad? Well - that's all relative. You are IN COLLEGE. That's a good thing. It's better than leaving high school and going to work in fast food or something. Could it be better? Probably.

How in the world would the people on Yahoo! Answers know what your major should be. There are several personality/intelligence strength types of tests that you can take that would tell you what your interests and strengths would be. Go to the counseling center at your college and ask them to help you out in this way. Only YOU know what sings to your heart - and how important $$$$ is to you. Those two things will be big decision making factors when it comes to choosing your major and career.

I went through college - and managed to get through 4 years and not have the right credits to graduate. (Things were pretty laid back back then. I was signing my own schedules some semesters - and nobody knew). After four years - - my money for school was gone - and I went to work in retail - because I had a bunch of theatre classes, art classes - etc. - and there was no way I could graduate. I went back to school - part time - when I was 28 - and it took me SEVEN YEARS to get a two year degree.

Take it from me. Get your life in order and make a plan NOW. My life is good - but I know that a four year degree and a plan would have made my life a lot better. Screwing around in college - and not having a goal - was one of the stupidest things I ever did.

Yes that is bad only because if you dont have by now there would have been no sense in going to college and you better find one soon or you'll be flipping burgers for a livin'. Oh and pick a major that you like or your good at.

I think you now have to declare a major. Because junior and senior year is when you take your upper levels.
What are your interests, what do you want to have a career in?

It depends on how many credits you have. If you have at least 30 they will start to pester you about what your major is. Don;t worry about it take your time.
