How many of you miss the days when politics was more palatable ?

Politics were indeed more palatable back then, as was the music.

Do you see any connection? (not necessarily a cause and effect relationship...more like a contemporaneous, icky evolution).

Or, maybe I'm just turning into an old fogey!

I miss the days when Yahoo Answers was less PC and more free speech oriented. But politics has always been divisive in the US. It is what makes us special. All songs are welcome, even disco!

The guy above me is a Yahoo terrorist. He assumes that Conservatives should give the best answer to their questions to someone who's either bashing them for their question, or has totally opposing views.

I don't know if it was ever more palatable or we just didn't get as in depth coverage. I know that that when you read historical quotes about politics they all bemoan the fact its a dirty business.

Edit - This is rich, a Yahoo terrorist. ROFLMAO.... It funny how people characterize you when you ask them to use logic or facts.
