Some black people gave him the title "first black president" I think it is insulting you see the reason one poster gave for blacks saying it and those things are not something to be proud of... personally I think that my black people who seem to have some kind of undying affection for that man have been duped

He's friendly towards and apparently well-accepted by the majority. It has to do with his politics, mostly. He got lots of credit for putting more blacks in his government, and when Bush was about to beat his record for appointing blacks, all the liberal newspapers ran front-page stories criticizing Bush for not having appointed as many blacks as Clinton had. This was while Bush was new in office and still was appointing people. The next day after the articles implying he was less pro-black than Clinton he announced more appointments and this beat Clinton's record, but that went unremarked by the press. They had just been taking their last possible shot at him on this score before it was too late. This is typical of the dishonesty surrounding racial politics, so you shouldn't take any of it too seriously.

OK, I'm going to let you in on a black thang, that you normally would not be allowed to know.
The common joke in the black community is Bill Clinton was the firs t black president because...
1. He likes big booty white women
2. He smokes weed
3. He loves fried southern foods.
Some people may take that as a slam or an insult. I don't...it's allll gooood!

He has some African-American genealogy somewhere back in his family. I remember reading about it years ago while he was still in office.
Bush is also related to Colin Powell-but who knew ?

Blackcockster, that's not a "black thang". Sorry.
In reality, it is because of his style of speeches. You see, he intentionally mimics the stereotypical firebrand fire and brimestone african american minister. That's just his style.
