If all three of the desktops are using the DSL connection at once, then yes, there will be slow speeds and lag. I suggest using broadband Internet for three networked desktops, like Comcast, for example.

unless you are all downloading massive amounts of data tonly then will the connection slow.
I have 4 pcs connected at home and we can all browse the internet with no slowing.

If you do large simultaneous downloads on all 3 computers at one time, definitely, if not all three should browse very easily.
