We are driving to either key west or maimi from south carolina. Which place would be best for a honemoon. Is the drive that much further to key west that we should stay in Miami? Which will be the most fun? What is there to do in these places and how do you know where to stay and which areas?

Key west is very small but very beautiful. There aren't many beaches you can actually can go swimming off of but there are places to go snorkeling. Its not as bad as it used to be party wise and is now more family oriented. Im not sure it would be my first choice for a honeymoon as there are not many romantic places.
In Miami there are beaches but there a lot of rich people and it is a ritzy city. Though there are also nice resteraunts and nice places to shop too. Also the beaches are beautiful and so are the hotels as I have stayed there before. For a honeymoon I would choose Miami, but it depends on what you like. If you're looking for a place where there are a lot of people and there is a lot of action go to Miami. If you want more privacy and want to party go to Key West.

Key West for sure, Miami is all about drugs and crime, don't even look while you drive by

by the looks of it, miami should be your choice...but honestly? any place will do as long as you enjoy each other's company..
