i respect having an toddler seat for the first 6-9 months earlier switching to a convertible, and that i have a Graco Snugride that i respect. you do not take a convertible carseat out of the motorized vehicle as quickly because this is put in. they're strapped in and they don't sit down in a base like the toddler ones do. i'd get an toddler seat regardless of a large toddler. because you gained't opt for to might want to wake them as a lot as get them out for all time even as they're newborns.

Ford Expedition, and the 3rd row is foldaway into the floor creating a flat floor area. And the seats are folded just be clicking a button and it'll do it itself.
And unlike most 3rd rows, decently sized people actually fit back there without their knees hitting their heads.

I think a Denali does.
Of course there are 12- and 15-passenger vans (go for the 12--they have more leg room).
Ask the local rental places what they have. You may have to call around a lot; not many offer vans. Don't put it off!
