Yes I know water in pen doesn't work, I'm not a fool, (I though guys at YA could be smarter then again I suppose you're only answering to score some points, there you go).

I know that felt tips pens are cheap and I can buy a new pack for just £1 but in this age of "Save the Greener World" I just thought I could recycle rather than throw away and buy new felt tip pens. Some of you guys at YA really should lighten up.

Do you have cartridge refill inks? Since you are so recycle friendly I thought you may have this around your home.

Try injecting this mixed with a bit of water into the pens and this may do the trick.

Remove the stopper at the top of the pen and add one drip of water to the felt pad inside the casing. Replace the stopper and hold the pen upright for a couple of minutes until the drip of water reaches the end. Voila!

We used to put a little bit of vinegar in the top of the pen were the felt ink thingy is inside.

Adding water doesn't work. Throw out dry pens and buy new ones.

vinegar in the tube, not too much though, we never had much money so couldn't just go and buy new pens, this works.

If you have a bottle of Isopropyl (spelling?) alcohol in your bathroom, you can dampen a tissue with some and rub/squeeze the tip with it.

maybe you could use coloured inks..although i dont think there is any way you could recycle them..some things are meant to be thrown away when past their best.

A very short- term method of doing this is to lick them slightly.

Please check that they are not toxic....
