In acting this way, YA are confirming that we have an administration that has a lot to hide.. just like all the classified papers that they have made.

Mention Saudi Arabia, Iran, Jews, Bush, Cheney and your question is flagged and deleted. What a Joke?

For those that doubt it go to my home page and see how questions are ignored. Why are there so many morons on here?

Humanist, I don't think it is actually all YA's fault, what you have here is narrow minded repuke's that cannot take criticism and they report you for really no good reason. With the volume of reports that YA gets in a day I sometimes think that they just take the reporters word for it. There is a bit of relief in the forum under unjust deletions and account removals. But that is getting to be a joke as well.

There are no "Censors", to say. There is just a big program that will flag whatever is put into it. Somebody on Yahoo! puts in words or phrases that they deem to be inappropriate, and the program just deletes you question or answer if it finds them. The same goes for those that report. If enough reports come in, the program deletes, regardless of content. This, in essence, destroys the openness of this forum and turns it into a giant Hypocrisy.

By acting what way? The liberals are complaining yahoo is covering up for the administration, the conservatives are saying Yahoo is backing the liberal agenda and censuring them. I claim horse dookies on both sides.
Yahoo may be trying to make sure debate does not end up in a pool of mindless dribble, if so, they could be doing a better job. But in general if you are asking or answering a question in a way that stimulates thought rather than idiology or bigotry, they leave it strictly alone. Or are you finding differently, and why?

YA practices political correctness. I am familiar with your presentations. I too have been censored, but it not because of Adminstration intervention, which you seem to be asserting. Speaking of hiding classified papers, why are you ignoring "Those insignificant classified documents" Sandy Berger Stuffed in his drawers. Excuse me The Truth is inconvienient....

Interesting that you would process this as an attack on government. I process this YA censureship as the fruits of PC and Liberalism. It isn't Conservatives running this company, and it isn't Conservatives crying for censureship. It is Liberalism, Humanist. Yahoo style. And the Conservatives are demanding that Yahoo play fair. Maybe they are trying to do so, finally.

Censorship comes from big governments! You are probably the same person that feeds them there tax money to fuel this! In all reality, you socialists are the ones who are making it easier for bad people to get into government! "Oh no" you say, couldn't be me! Bull, people like you support a socialized structure bent on helping people when in all reality they only hurt, bring division not equality, bring more poverty not prosperity! People like you vote against free markets and then expect people to be free! Go to Cuba....better yet....go to Venezuela, they need more people. All the other freedom loving people are leaving! This country is doomed because of control freaks like the republicans and democrats. ~ Libertarian

This has been set up as a "G" rated site, suitable for all ages. Some here are more childish than others. We're self governed with the YA flagging system. Welcome to the socialistic democracy you so desperately seek.

Y!A makes no significant difference in any community or setting. Just try to put it out of your mind. People are censored every day. There is no limit to what governments will do to continue to capitalize off of the fear and misguided education of their own people. America does it, and so do many other nations. We probably stand out amongst them, b/c we are generally told that we have the freedom to find out for ourselves, but part of effective censorship is training people to believe that there is no reason to branch out and discover the world for oneself. When no one wants to figure out the truth, your work is cut out for you, all you have to do now is train your dog's ahem American public to follow your every whim whenever you whistle. Americans aren't always so much idiots, as much as they are impressionable and very well trained. Idiocy eventually spawns from these circumstances, but it takes a bit of conditioning before it sets in, but once it's there you have one of two things for life. The typical American die-hard propaganda magnet patriot with no stomach for anything that opposes what they've been told, or the just as typical anti-American idiot who thinks he is free of training but is actually just looking for every excuse in the world to not like America so he can go on pretending that what he or she calls brainwashing never affected him or her. Those types are actually more annoying than the typical American idiot, b/c they'll believe anything you tell them, and then try to elaborate and it all boils down to one thing: "America is at fault for my circumstance, because I'm so independent of American brainwashing that I need the people and government as a crutch for my mistakes."
Today's lesson is, don't lower your standards or dumb yourself down to fit in with one or the other typical American persona. Seek truth, and know that all stories have several sides, and the common denominator is the closest to reality you'll get ANYWHERE in the world.

YA is a private enterprise and does not allow complete free speech...you can not insult others or slander persons...as we have seen you do....the "administration" has nothing to do with the running of YA..in fact the YA has been seen to be VERY liberal in the way they post the news....
