she is fron the US.. she was poor...
her first name is Diane Oprah Winfrey.. she got a radio job at 16.. worked at a small tv station went to school.. and got an education... and got a talk show from just reading the news on tv and the rest is history..
this girls school in africa is to empower women of a third world type thing.. but all these girls were already in schools and she just picked the best of then for her acadmey... it is a farce..
these girls would have done well anyway.. they have parents that are well off enough to send then to school
Why didn't she pick those poor girls that are traded as slaves or the one that you see that live in villages that will never have the opportunity to go to school or anything...
Oprah... will end up taking credit for these girls lives... but she is deluding herself.. these girls had lives before Oprah... made by their parents and their teachers... a 5 million dollar shrine to Oprah.... got to laugh at it.. she should have helped her own American children

She is the richest woman in America. She was molested, as a child (never heard about any miscarriages or abortions.) I believe her mama died when Oprah was very young. She's pretty close to her dad. She has been 'seeing' a guy named Stedman for many years. I don't think she will ever get married (good for her!) No kids & it's too late now. Loves & owns two or more dogs. She is very generous. At least half of her shows are about trying to help people with various problems. She was instrumental in the fame that came to Dr. Phil.

I believe she started off as a news reporter and then to a talk show host. As the years gone by, she just kept attracting a broader audience. Now she's one of the most powerful and richest women in the world!! Oprah rocks!!!

her grandma raised her and they were poor she wanted to do everthing her grandma did.Her grandma never thought she would become as famous as she was. She always said she would be doing things she did as an adult opera thought other wise. and now she is famous and not poor anymore!! thats all in know
