can not find too much information on the net about it. most of what I have found is saying it will not help computer run faster or load faster.

Defragmenting the memory will make little or no diference to your computer's speed.

Well, i dont think it is true, cos memory required electricity to hold data and so it is temporal and it can not be defraged. But hard disk is permanent or stores ur data permanently, so will have to defraged to put all pieces of a file together, thus ensure faster reading of that file into memory.

DONT ever do that, not only u can physically damage ur memory but u can make serious errors, so dont do that and by defraging ur memory nothing improves. sometimes u might damage some memory locations and some programs will stop working (happened to my friend)
