If you think a bigot limits him/herself to just one segment of society, you'd better think again. It amazes me that any minority would EVER vote Republican. Are you TRYING to get your group beat into the ground?

What in Gods name does believing marriage should be a man and a woman have to do with bigotry.

The main difference between you and me is that I don't consider women, black, Jewish, or Hispanic Americans to be separate groups than I am. We are all Americans. Some are good, some are bad some are in between. I judge every person I meet by their character. This is something you, apparently do not even consider. Do you think all women have the same opinion? All Jewish people? Black people? Hispanic people? Of course not. Some of the most powerful people in America are in these groups. Being a minority is a state of mind. If I walk into a store and everyone else it a different race than me, I am just among my fellow Americans. You can concentrate on what makes us different or look for what makes us brothers and sisters.

And I am a REPUBLICAN!!!

What do any of those groups have to do with Gay marraige anyway?

It is a very poor analogy. I hate serial ax murderers no matter what race religion or creed, does that make me a bigot?

That, of course, is a poor analogy also, since ax murderers have nothing to do with Gays marrying.

Frankly I could care less on the second issue, I just do not feel it should be handled at the federal level. Or did you forget about the number of states where it is still illegal for a man and a woman to live together without being married?

So anyway, I assume you will continue to be amazed at how minorities vote, since you don't seem to have a handle on their motivations, nor understand the Republican Party is no more monolithic than the Democratic one.

I don't think someone of color or in a religion that is a minority has to support other minorities-
that being said if you vote against someone who sticks up for minorities (gay marriage) you are damning yourself.
I also never understand why no one is smart enough to get that if minorities align they can over throw a majority.

women would have gotten the right to vote faster is they wouldn't have turned their backs on females who were not white and if they would have treated black men better.

black males would have gotten more rights if they weren't prejudice against females.

some understand this, most don't

There may be a slant to it, yet additionally: permit's say that blacks, as a team, voted sixty 5 to 35 for the ban. permit's additionally say that non-evangelical blacks vote fifty one to 40 9 against, yet evangelical blacks voted eighty 5 to fifteen for the ban. Then it could make extra experience to make the non secular distinction as adversarial the the racial one, as a results of fact the branch is extra alongside those strains. maximum analyst have suggested that the standard public of predominantly black church homes are evangelical, so make which would be a risk. i admire the way you went directly to accusation and assuming the worst until now checking to work out if there may be a sensible explanation, nevertheless.

IT's up to the individual who to vote for, some people vote on many other issues not just pro or anti-gay marriage.
I myself will vote for who the best candidate for office. The issue of gay marriage is not one that effects me an any way shape or from so that's not a key issue when I vote.

Jews? America has always liked the Jews, look at the ties between the US and Israel, and all the Jews in the States.

Women? This isnt the 1950s anymore, they have the same rights as men and always will in America

Blacks? Again, maybe the poorer parts of America (ghetto) are ignored sometimes, look at all the black men and women in the Military and Politics

Hispanic? Republicans dont care, as long as your legal

But it is ok for the liberals to hand over our country to illegals that are INVADING our country? Maybe it is time for the USA to step back and give up some of the rights we have. It is time to go back to square one, before the country is distroyed. (Yes, distroyed, by bone heads that think that EVERYTHING should be a right. By the way, gay here...)

Ok, lets see here....Racism...Sexism....and partisan attacks, and that's just in your question.

People can think for themselves. Is it ok for other people to have different opinions than you? Is that really so wrong?
