In politics, you know who gets the nomination? You know who ultimately gets elected? The person who didn't give that one unfortunate little sound bite that the Liberal media will latch onto like a rabid pit bull.
This was most evident during the Bush Sr. vs. Clinton debates. Both candidates gave the most bland, carefully worded, measured responses possible.
Imagine Bush said he made some mistake in the Iraq war. The next day, newspapers from coast to coast would pounce on that one admission, twist it all out of context, and say Bush admits that liberating Iraq was a mistake. I can guarantee you that.
However, Bush has on several occasions bluntly listed mistakes he has made in office. However, if the press can't get that magic soundbite, they don't publicize it.
I think Bush's immigration plan is a mistake. We should be much harsher with the people who have violated our national sovereignty and broken our laws.
In fact, Bush has been much, MUCH more candid about his mistakes than Clinton. Clinton always gets incredibly defensive when people criticise him. Bush seems to brush off the criticism and get back to the business at hand.

nicely, first of all, not something is performed by accident or by potential of twist of destiny. not at that time. He took a good sized funds surplus, and made it a greater deficit, he has led to thousands and thousands of yank jobs to flow distant places, crashed the social protection device, completely dropped the ball after 9/11, in case you havent observed bin laden continues to be alive and nicely, began a capturing conflict in line with greed and lies, initiated the Patriot Act, which, if completely applied, might have basicly an analogous capacity and results of the Soviet KGB, and has made america the only maximum hated united states of america in the international. Which has finished the main harm to the standard citizen? nicely, how approximately paying over $3.00 a gallon for gas, after invading between the biggest oil producing worldwide places interior the international, or being waiting to legally secret agent on everyone. The worst element he's performed is that he's shattered the arrogance the folk have of their government, their military, and their destiny. Impeach him.

They would rather try to put the blame on somebody else, that is the repuglican way. Bill Clinton is blamed for most of the failures by this administration and he has been out of office 6 years.

Who told you the President has made no mistakes? I'm a lifelong Republican, and there are definitely issue about which I disagree with the President and matters I wish he had handled differently, particularly immigration policy. That being said, I still agree with him far more often than not.

Bush's errors and 'mistakes' are so much worse than Clintons were and it's frightening how they keep on about how Clinton was a worse president & more incompetant than him.

To accept that will show them as intellectually dishonest. We know he has made very significant mistakes and that is all that matters.
