Do both if you can. They'll both help you be better in the other.
If you can only do one, and like you say you really love track, then do track. If you don't put in 100% all the time then you need to start. always do your best every time you go.
Just because Gymnastics looks fun in a movie it doesn't mean it will be for you, you know you love track, you might hate gymnastics.

Maybe you should try something new and do gymnastics. It seems like you think you would really enjoy it. I have tried gymnastics myself and I really like it. Since, you are athletic and flexible you would probably do well because gymnastics needs both those qualities. Even if you do not like it you can always go back to track.

You have to think about what your financial and time limitations are. Of course, track is more readily avaliable at schools, and few schools have gymnastics programs (same goes for colleges). Gear and training is also cheaper and easier to come by for track than for gymnastics. The pros of both--you'll stay in shape and flexible, you'll be working with a team toward a goal, and you'll have a variety of activities to chose from in either hobby. So again, there's great things about both, but you have to think about the limitaitons.

I have done both. Gymnastics takes more than 100% of your effort and if you have not even started mastering yet then I would go for track. Running is something you can do anytime anywhere and for the rest of your life. Gymnastics requires equipment coaching and a gym. So you will practice less naturally because of lack of equipment.

Well! It seems you have doubts about track,Track can lead to a college of your choice, but so can gymnastics, you already know track so you wouldn't have to trained for it,and you don't know gymnastics and it's very, very hard to do and trained for,and some of the injuries in gymnastics are brutal and painful, maybe you should try softball instead.

If you cannot do both, I would do what you fell more comfortable doing. You said gymnastics seems fuyn. Is track fun? Do what you feel is right.
