It's better known as trolling. It is the deliberate bullying of people just to get attention. In this case, it is purposely posting hateful comments and slurs for its own twisted enjoyment. Trolls post defamatory content to get a reaction from people.

This kind of depends on your perspective.
From society's point of view, it is physical or verbal aggression in which homophobic or transphobic words are uttered by the perpetrator.
From a victim's perspective, it's being targeted for verbal and physical abuse because you are gay or trans.
And from the bully's point of view, it's verbal or physical aggression motivated by an internal psychological anxiety regarding homosexuality or transsexuality. This can spawn variously from self-hatred because of one's own sexual feelings or doubts about one's gender, from socialization in a homophobic or transphobic culture, or from earlier victimization that one has associated with gay or trans people.
