It is harder for me to make an apology.

It's harder for me to give a speech b/c what would be a 10 minute conference feels like an eternity. At least w/ a compliment it's brief and will be forgotten, making an apology is between offended parties, but if you fumble a speech EVERYONE will remember including the person that gives you your paycheck...nerve wracking.

Definately give an apology... I can take compliments fine, and I like giving speeches, but admitting I'm wrong, and admitting it out loud to someone is usually pretty hard for me.

For me, it is both to make an apology and giving a speech. When I was younger, I had more difficulty swallowing my pride to admit fault and giving a speech is not that hard as long as it is not in front of a public.

It's hardest for me to take a compliment.

I have no problem saying sorry, especially when I'm in the wrong and I'm pretty good at public speaking.

When I get a compliment though, it seems a lot more complicated. I forget to say thank you a lot and just answer with "no" or "not really" sometimes. I change the subject if compliments are elaborated on. I sometimes even say something bad to counter the good thing they've just said. lol. even though I think about compliments later, and most definitely appreciate them, I can't take em well. :p

I really suck at all of the above. I can say I am sorry when I really did something wrong. I can take a compliment when it is sincere and I could talk in front of anyone if I am prepared. I rarely feel that I am wrong, I find that most people are condescending with compliments and I procrastinate too much to ever be prepared!
