Yesterday, my cousin had a party ( and she did not invite me to come along ) to go to. so while she was out having fun, i was stuck at home doing absolutely nothing being bored to death with nothing to do except be on Yahoo! answers. and don't get me wrong, i like all you people on Y!A, but come on , i had been on since 10 am. so anyways, today she has a party for a little girl who turns 6 years old. so obviously, she's going to be bored with the little 5 and 6 year olds so she invited me. but i turned down her invitation because yesterday while she was having fun, i was bored and lonely. but now when SHE'S bored, that changes doesn't it??? she invites me because she's going to have nothing to do. but you know what?? it's payback time. now it's time for her to be bored so she knows what yesterday felt like for me.
am i wrong for doing this? or should i go along with her???

THANKS IN ADVANCE :-)

It sounds as if you are unhappy that she did not invite you to her party, so it's payback time. I would guess that you are a teen. Something more mature than payback is having a talk with her and telling her how you feel about the situation. Her feelings may or may not be hurt if you choose not to go to a child's birthday party. Do you want to go to the party? Go if you want to go to the party, if not find something else to do.

Why go if your going to get bored? I think if you had a party and didnt invite her soley because she didnt invite you, that would be petty. If you dont want to go, dont. Dont go down to her level.
Sorry for the lecture.

No you are fine not going - I mean why would you want to go?
But honestly I dont think she will see the connection - she will just assume you didnt want to go to some little kids party that she probably wishes she could get out of!

I don't think it was right for you to do that, but it is what I would have done. It was the wrong thing to do because you are sinking done to our cousin's level but it is soooooo satisfying. As for changing your mind: Do you like kids? If so it would be all right for you to go. As for myself I don't like little kids so I wouldn't go. Maybe you not going will make your cousin feel a bit remorseful.

You are being rude and petty. Take the higher road go with her. Payback might feel good at the time, but where does it end?

If there replaced into no changing table interior the adult men's bathing room, then you definately did no longer have any decision, and that should have been a suitable excuse for the girl who confronted you. you have additionally asked her to observe the door to warn others on the same time as your niece finished. If there replaced right into a changing table interior the adult men's bathing room, then you definately have asked the ten twelve months previous to attend on the door on the same time as you checked to be sure the adult men's room replaced into empty. then you definately have escorted her to a stall, replaced the toddler, and asked her to attend until now popping out until the room replaced into empty back, in case the different adult men entered.

You should go to the party. Maybe she had a reason that you couldn't be invited to the other one. Just let it go..
