A batch production is where a product is mixed/made in very large quantity and then disseminated/divided into smaller quantities for selling. Paint, perfume, glue, peanut butter, mustard, etc. are made this way.
If you have been listening to the new recently, they have been recalling peanut butter with a Batch Number of 211. This Batch was made in a large quantity and then put into small jars for distribution. Now it has to be recalled from all over the nation.
