Williams is currently adhering to multiple drug tests per week in order to attampt to be reinstated by the NFL. He is currently residing in Nevada County, California teaching and studying yoga (which he claims has weaned him off of marijuana), though he plans to return to the NFL and to the Dolphins for the 2007 season (Wikipedia Cited. I think he has probably ran out of chances in the NFL. I do not see a team taking a chance on him as he has bailed out on a few teams. Seems like he likes the ganja too much to comply with NFL rules. If it does occur I would bet it was a late season or partial season replacement. Could never see a team giving him any type longterm contract. Rumors are he failed another drug test in May of this year (his fifth such failure). Would likely face another one year suspension. He also is rumored to be haivng some psychiatric problems and is working on those demons. It seems he is making an effort to be reinstated just seems unlikely at this point that a team would want him...but you never know...he certainly has/had talent and as we have seen in the past in all major sports if you have talent and can help a team win some team will look past nearly any transgression and sign a player in the effort to win. So I would say doubtful but it possible.

The NFL will let Ricky Williams play again. They shouldn't, after he broke the drug policy 4 times, but the nfl will let him play again.

Ricky Williams will apply for reinstatement,be accepted back, and serve the penalty and then some team will take a chance on him.It shall however be a big mistake as he is destined to fall back to his pot smoking days.He has never admitted it was a mistake or even wrong.Ricky will take a new signing bonus and then within the year screw the people who took a chance on him.I just hope and pray its not the Cleveland Browns!!!! Perhaps the steelers will find it in their heart to help this poor young man.

At most he probably sits out a year. Reapplies to be reinstated next year and is brought back in. Maybe he doesn't even have to sit out this coming year.

As long as he doesn't fail another drug test cause he is sitting on 2 strikes if I'm not mistaken with the 3rd being the "YOU'RE OUT for life!" pitch.

By contract, he has to return to the Dolphins. So my guess, yes.
