Probably not but it depends on other dependents and non-dependents in the house, the number of children, any special needs, your own level of savings and investments ( including property owned ) and any other income coming into the house. It also depends on the rent being asked and whether that is likely to be restricted ( i.e. for over accommodation etc ) and what type of property you are renting. You are wasting your time asking that question on here .... has you local authority a quick benefit calculator on their website? Some do, it's worth a try. Otherwise, simply phone up your local council and ask for a benefits advisor to talk you through it. It would be a waste of time completing a full application to find you are simply non elligible. But do find out .... even £12 a week is £50 a month off your bill!

do u already get housing benefit if no longer why no longer?. no matter if u can declare housing benefit relies upon on year own problem and year lodging problem. if ur renting then u can get help in the route of year lease. u would receive an volume depending on year circumstances and the community housing allowance prices are available via googling community housing allowance. operating example I easily have 3 toddlers, i'm for this reason entitled to a 4 mattress belongings one for myself, one for my son as hes over 16, one each and each for my daughter and youthful son as similar sex toddlers can't share previous 10yrs. this provides with my community council a fee of £three hundred in line with wk it truly is my lease. although i artwork and so that they make a deduction on a scale they have off this volume via my income and that i need to make it up from my wages. wish this helps slightly. most suitable element is to stay with to year community council they could merely say no. if ur unmarried and over 25 u might want to get also operating tax credit or if ur in a relationship and/or have youthful ones and are lower than 25 u also must be entitled to operating and or/toddler tax cred.

Possibly, ask your council's housing benefit department as I believe you can get some help even if you earn up to about 14000 a year!
