CRD (cyclic redundancy error)
When you save a file, by a mathematical algorithm, the computer adds up the numerical score for the data and stores it in the header of the file. When you copy it somewhere, the computers computes a new CRE on the saved file. When they do not match, you get the error you received. Possibly the file you copied is all right except , say "cat" is spelled "kat" in the copied file. The digital difference in the spellings could result in a different CRE.

Try looking at the copied file.
Try cleaning the disk by gently rubbing the lower surface fro the center out and not in a circular motion.
Try copying the file to another location.
Copy the remaining files on the CD first to make sure you do not screw them up while trying to recover the bad file

Pray

:)
Good luck

This means that the data on the CD has been corrupted probably due to mishandling and scratches....try cleaning the CD properly and then copying again...little chances of success but it might work
