If US dolar depreciates against Euro, the German camera become more expensive.
E.g. Say last week the rate is Euro 1 = USD1.25
If German camera costs Euro100,
Americans will have to pay USD 125 (Euro100 = USD 125)
Today USD depreciates to Euro 1 = USD 1.30
German camera become USD 130 (Euro100 = USD130)
So, German camera become more expensive when USD depreciate against the Euro.

Good answers. Try this explanation:
There's an amount of money being circulated in your country.
Whether there was twice as much or half as much, two factors would mostly matter:
1. how many goods and values those dollars could be spent on in the US, Germany or anywhere else;
and 2. how much money there was in circulation and how many goods were being manufactured in Germany or some other European country or group of countries.
Relative value of curencies compares both these things--our goods against theirs as an amount, our money supply's total against theirs. So there are 2 basic factors to consider.
So, if we had our currency "depreciate against" Germany's Euro, it would mean that without any change necessarily in the number of cameras or anything else USers and Germans were making, what it could mean is that 1.our cost now would entail more time, human or technological effort to manufacture the same camera, while theirs took the same effort or else that, 2. arbitrarily, our government had put more money into circulation here through the Federal reserve, so it now takes more US dollars to buy our goods; and also that our dollar's buying power now requires us to spend more for German-made articles also--since each dollar is now worth less relative to our camera and theirs than it was before.

Unemployment interior the U. S. motives human beings to report financial ruin, some could have their residences bypass into foreclosure. The banks and monetary establishments lose money. much less manufacturing is the effect. the entire united states loses. Blame it on deregulation, jobs being sent foreign places, OPEC, wars interior the middle East. all of it has a snowball effect. Like dominos, employer bypass decrease than, some are compelled to merge. It merely gets worse. This mixed with the themes in Greece and the Euro tend to devaluate the USD and the Euro. whilst this occurs, the Philippines additionally suffers. So, particular, that's elementary economics. all of us could desire to be nerve-racking. A 12 months in the past the USD replace into 40 seven to a million Peso. Now that's fluctuating from 40 4 to 40 5 to a million. i'm ok even if it must be extra suited. If foreigners can't purchase as lots interior the Philippines, then the Philippines loses. It relies upon on tourism, OFWs, and ex-pats. have confidence it or no longer.

lets look at it economically. If the dollar goes down then Euro goes up. Therefore the price of the product will remain same or rise due to a tiny percent of inflation. in the European countries the camera will the about the same or a little higher but in the U.S. it'll be expensive.

If the dollar depreciates, it takes more dollars to buy more euros.
For instance the camera costs 550 euros
A dollar buys 1.1 euro so the camera will cost 500.00 dollars
now for instance the dollar depreciates
A dollar only buys 1 euro so the camera will cost 550.00 dollars.
