i lived in middle house, then ivy cottage on the estate from around 1975 until 1979 and was wondering about any old mates or tennants that lived there around the same time. i remember the factors name was Mr McLiesh at the time

There are alot of resources you could use. A telephone book from that time would list your neighbors names and give you a place to start. The landlord probably owns other properties so you could look that up. Check death notices on any of the names, and criminal reports/court records. If your mates are out there, and you are willing to dig, you'll find em!
