Is it true that if she is thirty-something, there is no apparent wound found in her body, the Police dont bother to take a statement when you reported rape? i.e. so common sex nowaday, the Police will be loaded with such "rape vicitim"

my point is that if a woman agree to have sex but later said it is rape, then the Police will be busy.

The Police ALWAYS investigate rape. So what you say is wrong

The police investigate all rapes, however, what you may think of 'rape' (i.e. watching CrimeWatch) is not what 99% of rapes are all about.

Most are committed by a male, to a female with whom he is in a relationship. There is very rarely any significant and relevant evidence to go on (like an injury / DNA) that can be directly linked to the act.

Based on that, the CPS (Prosecution Service) are forced to 'bin' many of these cases as there is simply no realistic prospect of conviction and it is not in the public interest (it costs thousands to bring a matter to Crown Court) to pursue it.

It is unfortunately quite common for people to confuse the roles of the CPS and police.

I don't see what the relevance of the age of 30 is.

No. It doesn't matter if there is no 'apparent' wound. They can do a certain tests in the emergency room to determine if the victim has internal wounds and/or fluids left behind. They must take a statement from her and investigate the person she is reporting. If they find enough evidence to charge the perpetrator then they charge them with rape and other offenses. As a matter of fact,
a majority of rape cases are thrown out of court because we have an arcane judicial system that doesn't seem to know how to prosecute this horrible crime. It's unfortunate that you believe most women who report being raped are lying. It's an agonizing decision because of the humiliation you have to experience. Please don't generalize and make light of a very serious crime.

No the police will always investigate. You addition has no
relevance for women over 30. A 20yo could equally claim
later that it was not sex but rape. That question is not to
be answered by the police anyway. They just collect
possible evidence and find possible suspects. Their job
is not to decide wether it was rape or not. That's a judges
job.

You make a good point. The best thing to do is don't enter into a sexual relationship until you actually know the person and have a foundation for taking the relationship further.

Sex is not a sport, not a pastime and you shouldn't hop into bed with someone just because you have the urge. She could charge you with rape and what would your defense be?

What did you rape someone?? Sure sounds like it........we used to love rapists and child molesters in prison, guards would tell us they were coming a week ahead of time. The police always investigate rape calls so be prepared to go to jail better start working out now cause when you go down your gonna be next rape victim prison style

Rape is having forced sex,ie with out consent of woman. If a woman permits sex and then calls it was rape, body evidence is a must. There should be marks giving fight, injury of private parts etc and whether there was delay in reporting etc.Medical examination reports are crucial. It is not easy to prove sex with conset ,later as rape.

It seems to be a lottery. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/1659122.stm

But there is another point of view and I have encountered men who spent terms in prison on remand following accusations by women who later changed their minds about whether or not they consented. My sympathies are with men who are placed in this situation. They are, of course, also with the many women who are genuinely the victims of rape, who deserve justice and who often feel that they have not received it.
It seems that the police are very eager to improve their apparent clear-up rate and will often change their minds about the nature of crimes generally when they see no prospect of a conviction. I think, for example, of the case of a close relative who was the innocent victim of a gang assault just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, received very serious injuries and was then refused compensation because the police claimed that the incident (which had started out as a potential murder investigation) was "consistent with his falling down and hurting himself". I imagine that the police's attitude to rape is probably similar when they don't see their way to a clear conviction.

Unless a woman is totally being vindictive (and there are plenty out there) that a woman will say sex one minute and the next cry rape. There are cases where a woman will have no visible physical injuries from a rape - as in when date rape drugs are used.

No that is not true, There is often no physcial wounds outside of some signs of sexual intercourse.

The police will take the report, and can be sued if they refuse to. it will be up to a DA to determine if they have enough evidence to go to trial, or even to charge someone.

I think if a women of any age gets raped they can report it, but maybe police put younger women or children first.
