Three deployments alone would deserve an apology not to mention the horrific medical and deterioration of the funds for wounded soldiers and the disabled from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. This is where Bush dropped the ball with no plan....or if he did have a plan it was to divide America and dishonor the American Military.

I am not a Republican but to call ALL of the crooks is pushing it too far. Granted, most of the scandles have featured Republicans but they're not all that way.

Republicans in general don't owe the troops an apology. Many of them believed Bush's lies just like the Democrats. Both sides were duped. No WMD's were found, we know that but it is too late now.

When money is taken from veterans hospitals and other programs to pay for a very expensive war. FEMA is a great example of failure when we look at Katrina etc. But that is not all Republicans but the Republican Administration.

So neither Democrats nor Republicans owe anyone an apology but the Administration owes many many apologies.

No. The Hospital has been deteriorating for a long time. Both parties are responsible. The soldier today has the best equipment of any Army at any time in the history of this planet. New Orleans received enough financial aide to rebuild the entire state! And ask the Kurds if Iraq had WMDs.

I would concur that it is a shame about the VA Hospital. But why would the republicans apologize to the troops in regards to Katrina?? The people that are TRULY to blame in regards to Katrina is the local government of New Orleans and Louisiana. Why is Ray Nagen getting a free pass?? How in the world did he get re-elected??

I am also sick to death of you libs blaming republicans for "wmd lies". Their was military intelligence dating back to the early 1990's that said that Iraq and Saddam had WMD's; other intelligence agencies from other countries had much the same intel. We discovered mass graves where Saddam had used poison gas on them. I say that we waited too long on the UN to do their inspections (which Saddam would not allow some places to be inspected) and they were able to get them out of the country. Most likely to Iran and/or Syria.

So please stop adding the same old lies in with the unfortunate situation happening with the Reed Hospital.

The conditions in Walter Reed have been going on for awhile. Who knows how many people will be found to have had the chance to make things right. The commander made the mistake (relieved of duty) when he blamed lower enlisted for the problems.

Our equipment is state of the art, but anything that is in a harsh environment will deteriorate.

FEMA is not relevant to your question.

Iraq did have WMDs. We didn't just worry about the nukes.

Because the American people, represented by Congress believed a blatant lie by Bush and sent them into harm's way.

They owe the troops an apology for sending them into a "quagmire" to use Cheney's '92 reason for not invading Iraq.

They owe the rest of us about 300 billion dollars.

We owe no apologies to anyone.
One Hospital with some minor problems....Being fixed. Look at you own local hospital, I'm sure it is not 100%
We have the best equipment of any armed forces I had a cotton fatigue shirt to protect me, when I was in.
FEMA..Nothing to do with troops
WMD's have been found and the rest are hidden in other countries or buried in the vast desert.
. You also owe them an apology for not supporting the cause.
It is you, that owes our brave and self sacrificing Troops thanks, for allowing you to hide at home and complain, rather than fight along side of them

you do understand that Walter Reed is slated to be shut down because it is ancient, and can't be made better until it's shut down and torn down for something better!

How much do you want wasted?
