They dont get as much as football players do.
It varies as well from team to team & country to country.
I know that the Neath & Swansea Ospreys have just signed 2 Welsh internationals namely Mike Phillips From the Cardiff Blues & Ian Gough from Newport Gwent Dragons. Mike will be paid £80K for 2 seasons & Ian has signed for 3 years for £150K
The Welsh Regions can only spend 2.6 Million a season due the charter that was drawn up between the four regions when they went to Regional rugby 4 years ago.

Far too much for the amount pof time they are out injured. They seem to play a game and then be injured with the odd exception.

I understand ODriscoll gets 400,000 euro pa and most interprovincials would earn at least 100,000 plus sponsorship in IRELAND.
