an article i was reading a few weeks ago stated that the internet is now the biggest cause of marriage/relationship break up

not only through people spending so much time on computers but cos of the easiness of having an affair/meeting someone new

its quite sad really, people should use things is moderation and just use it as a hobby........ and not neglect other things in preference to it........ there is no harm in it when used like that. I do know someone though that almost lost their business through spending so much time in chat rooms etc. and their marriage hit rock bottom, people can get addicted to things, and that's when its bad

i tend to just flick over onto yahoo! answers when im using the internet for other things and maybe when my mind needs distracting from other things

does my husband mind? no not really

anyone who thinks they are addicted to the internet (not just yahoo answers) should maybe read up on it and try and limit the time they spend using it.

my result was ok lol

i'm some 2...yet as quickly as I get on, i can't provide up answering and asking questions. i'm going to get directly to check the status of a question and that i detect my self score, answering, asking, and vote casting. Then i attain my decrease and that i choose to tug my hair out! :) I could desire to admit that Y!A is rather addictive

Good question - I am on Answers when my husband is watching something on TV that I am not interested in - we are in the same room together, each enjoying what he is doing. How can that cause a problem.

I imagine that it could lead to problems with the relationship if you pick YA over time with your spouse. Or if a guy forgets to put the toilet seat back down because he has to run back to finish answering a question on YA.

I think it may actually save a few marriages, both spouse's need "alone time", even if it means just spending some time with a few friends.
