Speaking as a parent you would be grounded for a month and your privileges are revoked. Now you have to work twice as hard to gain your parents trust. Ask yourself before you do something that you are not supposed to do. Is it worth it? Good luck honey

I got caught sneaking out when I was 14. My mom grounded me for 2 weeks, took away my TV and pager(This was before most kids had cell phones) When I was ungrounded I was not allowed to have people spend the night or spend the night at other peoples. Earn your parents trust back...and don't sneak out anymore.

I would ground you and take everything away, computer, phone, tv whatever. What you did was wrong cause you can never know something could have happened when you did this. Do you know how many teen girls go missing because some people out in the world are crazy? Its not safe these days.

Well it is obvious you know that you did something wrong or you would not want to know the answer to this question. However knowing you did something wrong and learning from it are two different things. Imagine your most prized possession and then finding it missing and not knowing what happened to it or what was being done to it - now multiply that pain and anguish by say a zillion times. That is not even close to how your parents felt.

Therefore - you must take whatever punishment your parents dish out. Now if they are asking you to come up with your own punishment (21st century psycho babble parenting style) then realize what it would be like to be them and make sure you punish yourself and not them. Obviously your parents are being very lenient on you because if you were my child you would not be on the computer right now. :)

I would ground you for the rest of the school year, take away all the electronics like the cell phone, ipod etc, I would also give you extra work to do around the house (chores),I would also ask your teacher for extra school work for extra credit. I know this sounds over board for you, but, if my child at 13 would sneak out, it would be horrifying and I would want to make sure it never happened again. Just for putting me through something like that.

some of these people are coming up with really harsh answers. If I was your parent, I would ground you for a week and make sure you understood why it was wrong.I'd make you run a couple miles with me in the car beside you.haha.. seriously I think that would make you stop sneaking out and learn a good lesson without it taking over your life.

You are only 13, so you are too young to be out late at night anyway. You should have your computer taken away for a start, and your mobile. you should be grounded for a wihle too.

grounded for a month; no phone, no tv, no computer, no friends over, no allowence, nothing. Jeez, I only snuck out one time. I was 16 and even called my dad when I got there to tell him where I was (so much for "sneaking" out...lol)

You should be ashamed of yourself first of all. Do you have any idea how badly I'm sure you scared your parents. Do you have any idea how much harm you were putting yourself into and your family.

At your age you do not need to be out running the streets, Do you know how many girls get raped each day in this country? How about abducted and murdered...................? The dangers of drugs and drinking, Or being ran over by a drunk driver?

Or your house could catch fire, and your parents could die in the fire LOOKING for you.

i think you need to lose ALL privileges . No friends over, no phone, no movies, no shopping, nothing but school, and get picked up and dropped off. No music, Just school then homework until until bed. I would not let you do it in your room you would have to do it where I could see you. NO allowance.

Your would have chores to do, that would keep you busy. Your lucky your alive to ask this question.!!!!

You would have to earn back my trust, and slowly get the PRIVILEGE back to do ANYTHING . Wake up!!!!! before you end up dead, pregnant, strung out.

If you did this for a boy which I'm assuming you did.......... I hope he was worth it. And at 13 I can assure you he WASN'T
