no way, i'd probably say he was 4th after gilchrist, sangakarra and akmal. still he's better than paul nixon =S.

No he is not the best wicketkeeper in the game of cricket right now. The place has been taken by an Australian player named Gilchrist. Dhoni is a school boy compared to him in both batting and wicketkeeping in my opinion.
DHONI IS NOT A GREAT WICKETKEEPER. EVEN DINESH KARTHIK IS A BETTER WICKETKEEPER THAN DHONI. THIS IS NO SECRET AMONG EXPERTS.

No. The best wicket keeper available in the cricket at present is Adam Gilchrist of Australia followed by Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka.

Well, you can never say who is best. Dhoni has certainly achieved alot in his short career but that doesnt makes him the best. Even the best of the players who has achieved a lot can not be named best so easily. Can you say Sachin is the best after looking at his recent run or can you say Gavasker was the best when his record in ODIs was below average. So, it takes something extra to be the best and Dhoni has a long way to go.

noway he is not at all the best keeper around inthe world.
both with bat and behind the wicket he is inferior to gilchrist,
sangakara.Yes he is amazing talent for india and could reach the great levels of game.surely he is a big asset to indian team
