about a month ago we got a new router and it worked fine until last night when i couldnt get a connection in my room any ideas how to fix it?

Unplug the power from the modem, the router, and turn off your pc.

Wait 1 minute, then restore power to the modem.
After all the lights have stabilized on the modem, power the router.
After the lights are stable on the router, turn on your pc.

After you have unplugged the power cord to the unit, waited about 30secs and plug back in, if there is still no luck in getting it working, try upgrading the firmware. Do try the steps above this post. They are right :) If you must, connect the ethernet cable directly to the pc, connect to the net that way. Follow the instructions for the installation of the firmware. Then you can reconnect back to the router to finish the installation.

maybe it hasnt connected. go to the wireless icon on your toolbar. then search for the router and click conect
has it lost its ip code from the router (find the ip code by looking underneath the wireless router)

i have to reset mine once in a while ...try resetting it...unplug it ,and plug it in a gain...
