This administrations sacrificial lamb?
Do you think the orders came from Cheney?
What would be Cheney's motivation?
Perhaps to keep the American people placated so it appears the administration is cracking down on corruption --- when in fact this is just the tip of the iceberg?

It certainly appears that way. The sad thing is the majority of Americans truly don't believe there is anything wrong with this adminstration.

Scooter Libby didn't do anything. Cheney this, Cheney that. You're headed down the Kool Aide line. That long line, with all the neocon conspiracy Kooks.

Oliver North, under orders, carried out an illegal arms deal. The idiot Congress gave him immunity so he could sit their and make fools out of all of them. The worse thing Libby did was lie. But lying seems to be a pretty common event in D.C. It's no big deal. Right?

Men of power always needs a fall guy to protect the guy on top. If convicted, Scooter will do a little time. Later, He'll get a Book deal, go tour and out graditude from the power brokers, he'll get his payout from the powers that be to keep his mouth shut. That's how the game works.
