To me, its kinda like asking how The Financial Times differs from the Daily Star! I think the Channel 4 is aimed more at the "upper class", whereas ITV/BBC are more for the "average Joe"

The only difference I'm aware of is that channel 4 news is on at a different time. All news presenters wear the same clothes whether it be a suite or a blouse and jacket. Channel 5 news readers have taken to standing up scaffolding in an attempt to make the news more interesting.
News is news and can't really be made more interesting by news presenters. They sit down and wear the same clothes day in day out. Newsround is by far the best news program.

I think the presenters on any channel just looks pretty much the same, suits or casual.

I like channel four because they show some programmes that other channels lack in showing or don't appreicate.

C4 has been good for showing shorts (clips) and filmhouse cinema, also animation.

They don't really mess you around as much as BBC with programmes or moving them to unbelievable slots such as say... 6pm programme to 2am without warning.

I think channel 4 are not afraid to cover more contraversial issues than the other channels, and should be applauded for that.to me they have always stood out from the rest, and have the best programmes too !!!
