ok this is the deal. i have a 1997 pontiac grand am se that is in mint condition. but no motor and the main wiring harness has been cut sevearly. It originally contained a 2.4 quad 4, automatic trans. I also have a 1996 olds calais with a 3100 V6, automatic transmission. the olds is a complete donor car. My question is will the motor, transmission, and subframe fit from the olds to the pontiac. I know i will need the wiring harness and pcm or ecm . that is no problem. I would much rather have a 3100 V6 instead of a 2.4 quad 4.

you can change the motor an tranny but not the motor cradle, u would have to use the axles out of the calais and move the motor mount on the back.. it would be best to use the origanal calais cradle.. (the wireing harness are the same), but the cradle from the grand am, the back 2 holes where the engine cradle mounts are wider where it mounts up at the torque boxes, because pont. is a wider body, the olds is a narrower body. hope this helps...

Have your self examined for Von Williabrands affliction, a genetic unfastened bleeding affliction - actually extra of a syndrome - and the main gentle form of Hemophilia (the only one women get). 5% of the inhabitants has it and that they don't understand until oddities like this take place. I even have it, and have dealt with what I call "hell days" for my total existence. "Hell days" are the era days with clots such as you describe, and no tampon nor pad can comprise them. It worsened in the time of menopause (confident, worsened) - and that i positioned on black pants each and all of the time, in simple terms in case. LOL, there are worse issues, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's an uncomplicated try, and that i heartily propose it.
