Just wondering what you all think:

When is a guy too old to be dating a girl who's 15-16??

I know it depends on the girl and how mature she is etc. but I think as long as he's no older then a 3yr gap at that age.
but when is too old really TOO old..(like obviously 30 is way way way too old)

When he's 18, then he'd be too old to date a girl that young.

If you were my own precious child, I would advise you to stay as close to your own age as possible when dating, at least while you are so young. There may be an exception and your three year age gap doesn't sound too alarming, but be careful, even with boys at 18. Some have way too much experience even then, and could force you into things you aren't ready for. Stay young and free and do not invite adult sized issues and problems while you are still so young. Look for friends, not just guys, and the partner will come , all in good time. Later in life, this age gap will not even be an issue; just be cautious for right now, and have a good time, honey bunny.

I feel as long as the boy is still going to the same high school and still living with his parents there really shouldn't be an age limit. So that would mean nineteen tops. When a boy [or girl] becomes graduates and moves out it's time for them to act like it. Why would an adult want to date someone still in high school? Can this man not get another girl his own age with the same maturity level and responsibilities? That's the way I see it.

The gap you put (3 years) is too constraining I guess.
I realize the said "love gets no age" isn't realistic and true but the same we can't generalize. Couples with she younger than 3-5 years is normal, while until 8-10 years is common enough.
Anyway, some great and deep love among two persons with difference in age more than 10 years is possible and not so strange then! The odd and unusual comes when some very old person is together a twenty-year-old, i.e!

for the 15 year old 18. For the 16 year old 19..

Anything over 20 is totally inappropriate.

Well, Im dating a guy 1 yr older than me and thats fine. My dad cant say anything because he's 41 and his girlfriend is 22!!!! Gross right?!?!?!?!?! My mom likes him so I'm good about that too. But I think 3 years is like a maximum age difference. At younger ages, a few years is huge, but when you're older a few years is fine.

By law no guy 18 years of age or older can date anyone under 16.

My friends brother was 29 when he started dating a 16 year old kid and now she is 18 and hes like 31, everyone refers to him as chester the molester plus his whole family wants nothing to do with him because not only is he by law a child molester but none can stand his girlfriend because she is a snotty brat who just wants his money.

When my friend got pregnant by a black guy she ended up in her brothers house and her and the GF can not stand each other and the GF moved in knowing my friend would be there and all she did was cause trouble from day one by saying my friend needs to give her kids up for adoption and calling her babies the N word, my friend got tired of it and moved out..

Ya know what happened when my friend gave birth in January? The GF said the brother could not go see the babies unless she was allowed up there so my friend just said F it and allowed it but refused to let her hold the babies. I remember when that b** walked in the room, I wanted to just jump on her and beat her with a bed pan, her sister , sister in law and her mom were up there at the time she came up and said don't expect us to talk to either of them because they were all sickened that after all that girl did she would show her face up there and on top of that the brother would not come up unless the GF could.

He needs to face the facts, he is not the girls BF he is a 31 year old ***** to a 18 year old kid.

People may say any age gap they want but it differs for everyone!!!
At 15 i was dating a 25y old guy and he is now my husband.. People may have judged us in the past but we were both serious, not only flirting... Love is not about principles, that i've learned!
