This is more in response to sandstorms question on women needing a dominate male figure, so I wanted to post the opposite and see what men thought:
I think some men don't realize it, but they really would benefit greatly from having a loving dominant female figure in their life. Because of mens inablity to control their sexual urges and belligerent attitudes from the overexcessive testosterone they need a woman to guide and protect them, and give them a kick in the nuts when they fail to control their urges on sex and violence.
And isn't it interesting how many mommas boys there are? Men look up to dominant women because it is what they need.

LOL, alright, you go girlfriend!! I think Sandstorm has met his match. I know a few momma's boys, there really is nothing wrong with that, though. My thought on that is to each their own, we all have our set of standards to live by. Have a good day. =)

I smiled when I read ur question --it' so endearing. Some women definitely need a caretaker lol but some (like me) will never be dominanted or controlled by a man or any other living human being --unless I'm captured and in prison-God forbid.I have always had to be the one to figure out all the answers and actually make a living on the jobs. my husband now has had a stoke and cannot help me at all. I just wonder how long that guidance and loving correctness would turn into bitching and screaming? 6 months, a years, or sooner? I've been married 11 years and believe me it is not easy but if I wasn't constitionually strong I would be dead.

According to many psychologists the answer is "YES." All men start out their life being submissive to a loving female authority (AKA Mommy) and they must then reconcile this urge during puberty. Which is when most of the macho B.S. starts. If men will simply find a loving dominant authority to fulfill this part of themselves, then they will be less aggressive and more fulfilled - in bed, in marriage and in life.

i totally agree. and especially since guys need some stability in their lives. And don't you notice that women fall for hopeless guys? Because its just their nature i think. Women swoon over powerful men but they fall for the hopeless ones.
