I'm not against arranged marriages. Even though I fall in love with my husband when I was only 14 ( he is 15 at that time). Arrange marriage its OK because parents or whoever making a best possible choice. If you don't like it you can refused it. There is a misconception about the arranged marriage that you don't know that person and you have to get married to that one only. That not true is it they give you choice. Its also like dating. But old days its different now its different. BUT I'M against force marriages.

I would have said no way before I learned more about it!I dont think it is as bad as people make it out to be and also for those who think it would never work, here is a fact for you! Most arranged marriages last longer then the ones you so call love marriages!I think it depends on your culture and how you view it!

well, every coin has both head & tails.its not whether the marriage is arranged or if it is love marriage.the important thing is how good the husband & wife r with eachother.there shd be love, faith & commitment between the two.but arranged marriage is better in few ways.though they dont assure professional assistance to girls in orthodox families, they assure life long companionship.& that too parents wud hav seen more life than their kids & they r 1st ones who really wish that their kids shd be happy.so surely their decision wud be correct.but their r cases where these went wrong.even in love marriages, theres no guarantee that the couple will stay together forever.finally it depends on the couple but on the mode of marriage.

i believe in arrange marriages but that does not mean that i m against love marriages. i trust my family with my life and i know they will never do anything that could hurt me. and also in arranged marriages we still have choices for example we get to see that person and then talk and also parents will ask their kids opinion.

I am for love marriage and not arranged marriage at all. You should be able to choose who you fall in love with and marry and not be forced to marry someone that is set up for you.

Each culture do things differently. I cannot say whether I believe it arranged marriage because I never experienced it. But I will say that it is hard for me to imagine that my wife has been already picked for me regardless if I liked her or not.

i am not totally against love marriages but if you would go through the statistics the people who have married out of love break up faster .mostly when in love people say a lot of lies that become false after their marriage

No, I believe in marriage with someone you are madly in love with. That you meet and pick out yourself. There aren't very many arranged marriages that are truly happy.
