Believe me, you are not alone! Even after the excellent help and advice I had on here a couple of weeks ago, the same old problem has returned! I used to have Tiscali PAYG when I first got my computer. I upgraded to Broadband a couple of months later ... but it seems some of the old 'dial-up' connection is still there! I am having exactly the same problem you're having and, after nearly a year of speaking to Tiscali technical assistance, nothing much has changed! I wonder if you also upgraded to Broadband from dial-up? There seems to be a confusion of connections as far as I am concerned.

Contact your ISP and see what help they offer. I sincerely hope your problem is sorted because I totally understand how frustrating and upsetting this can be.

Best of luck!

Get intouch with your server, maybe they have a fault in your area.

Also do you have the adsl filter inline? this maybe the cause if you dont not have inline with your modem.

you need to configure your modem/rooter. if you still have your instalation disc it may be easier to delete your broad band and install it fresh. i did this and have had trouble free internet since.
just follow step by step and you wont go wrong.
good luck
