can education bring peace to this world ?

I m an educationist and want to bring peace in world through Education.But the ways and means and other relevent issues to be addressed need ur kind and good comments.

These highly educated professionals "educate" people into killing and hating each other, for the purpose of political control. When you educate people into being aware of such Dark Hole of humanity, and into never trusting it ever, then you would be one step closer to mutual understanding, tolerance and coexistence.

It can certainly help, but keep them away from chenistry, physics, and engineering. It will give them more ability to create weapons. I believe the answer is the US has to further advance itself as the undisputed governing authority of the world's law and order.

I think we do a lot to educate people from around the world---just look at the high foreign student enrollment in the colleges & universities. Unfortunately, their bad people often get educated in the western world.

I believe the key to world peace right now is to suppress the development of Nuclear facilities in anti-American countries and continue with our Western influence where ever we can we'll eventually gain the world control that is necessary. Our development of more advanced defence techology will also be very nice.

Knowledge is power for it fights ignorance. And I think that it would also help against intolerance because we alot of times don't understand other people whether it be religion,society,history, etc.. . The biggest thing keeping the world in chaos is the greed of man for material things and the lust of power over others. I'm sorry to say but my answer is " NO" education can't bring peace to the world for as long as there is man on this earth there will be conflict.

If the education can inject peace in the minds of the students the world will be peaceful. But at present students, parents and teachers all are full of tention because of the systems, entrance, CET, reservation and so on...As it is the Life itself is an open University and practical lessons are the experiences we come across. AS you think ... and experience more and more you will realise the source of peace. If you can keep the control on your mind and keep it cool... ahh.... the world will be peacefull.

I don't think education is the answer. I know some very intelligent people who are cruel and some slow people who are very gentle. The answer lies in the heart, not the head,. education will never solve hate. (I don't mean to be mean, but as a educationist, should you be using the term "ur"?

Surely,education can bring peace in world.Let us learn science from signs , life from nature .Teaching people through practice is most important.Practicing truth and having empathy for every creature certainly makes a good teacher.Accepting oneness of GOD and learning from HIS creation ,which is living peacefully and then following the footsteps can make a world peaceful place for mankind.

Yes and no. Yes, because you have to have education of a topic will generate some kind of response which could be good or bad. No because it's up to the person whose receiving the knowledge to decide what they want to do with it, it they want to take it, understand it and use it to bring about some change.
