I found a bunch of old bookplates from WWII with Airplanes. Problem is they are all stuck together by the glue on the back of each one. How do I save them without destroying them?

You can try putting them in the freezer and then try to separate them while there still frozen.

You might try using a steaming tool like they use to remove wall paper. The glue is probably water bases and the steam would cause it to release.

Put one in a deep freeze and leave it over night, it might pop apart pretty easy. If it fails in any way take the rest to a shop that specializes in that sort of thing. something like that they are usually not too expensive.

Try holding them above a steaming tea kettle like people do when they want to surreptitiously (secretly) open someone else's mail. Don't burn your fingers - use a tweezers or tongs to hold them. It takes time so fill the kettle up.
