DOLLY THE SHEEP

AND DOLLY DID NOT DIE OF A GENETIC DISORDER!!

CLONING OF ANIMALS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF MANKIND IS NOT A BAD IDEA.

Dolly passed away, because the DNA used to create her was used from a mature sheep. DNA strands have telomeres, which shorten everytime DNA replication occurs. Once it's gone, new cells cannot be produced and the organism eventually dies. This is the same with humans as well. Dolly died, because the DNA that was used to create her had telomeres that were already crossed it's half of its life, so Dolly died prematurely. Not genetic disorders, just the nature of life.
