What does the phrase' keep rocking' means? Thanks?

That's what babies are trying to say if you stop rocking the cradle and then they start to cry.

But really, it can either mean to keep doing what you're doing or it can be used as encouragement or affirmation.

I would say, or think, that it means, "keep on going..."

Such as when you're working on a task, and your boss says to you, "keep rocking.." he/she means "hurry the heck up and finish, already!" LOL
