Hi Eclyps! (giggles)

What you described would be quite impossible. The eclipse seasons in 1990 fell in the months of late-January/February and late July/August. (Eclipses could not have occurred at other times of that year.)

The February 9, 1990 lunar eclipse was total, and would have been visible in Spain, but your calculations would then have to be off by at least two months, wouldn't they!

Check your recollection of the month, or of the year, and let me know! Add a comment to your question. I'll keep watching.

P.S. It's "e-c-l-i-p-s-e." (giggles)
