Yes, that is one reason I don't talk to too many people anymore, I don't need someone's opinion when it is not welcomed. I am with you on that. =)

I actually have gone from hating when people go and do that, but now I just enjoy listening and then when they go off to talk to other people, I usually laugh about it with friends. There always will be some folks who think they are freakin' oracles or something.

yes i really do. i mean giving advice is one thing but butting in and making a point of having oppinons on things that don concern them. i hate that too. also if u dont know the person very well

I think that everyone wants to be helpful. I know that it is frustrating but you need to be patient. The one thing that I know is listening is a big part of being there for a Friend.
